What do you do?

Tainted ambrosia is a media production company that creates music and video. We do commissioned work, as well as indepndantly produce media for our own objectives.

What kind of music do you write?

Two kinds.

First of all, we create music for scores and soundtracks for video, film, and multimedia

Secondly, we write music for vocal artists, specifically for the gangsta rap genre.

Our specialization is in aesthetically dark music that is rich in harmony but still melodic in nature. But we are certainly not limited to any specific sound.

Our basic tool for composition is Propellerhead's Reason software. And we record live instruments to compliment it.

What kind of videos do you make?

We make music videos, short narratives, and documentaries. We are open to making promotional videos if we believe in the purpose.

How much does it cost for a commissioned work?

As you might expect each individual work requires different approaches and tools.

But as long as we don't have to outsource any part of the production, the prices will be very reasonable as we are a small company and still trying to build a portfolio. Even if we do have to outsource some work, we can still probably offer competitive prices.

Who is Tainted Ambrosia?

Tainted Ambrosia currently consists of Andrew Zurbrugg and Matthew Ragatz.

Andrew is the main creative force behind Tainted Ambrosia, while Matthew focuses on the technical and business aspects.

For the purposes of projects that require more manpower, or different skills, we have other people that we have worked with, or we will hire the appropriate workers on a per project basis. We are also willing to work directly with or underneath other individuals or companies for projects if it is required or desired by the party commissioning the work.
